In the past couple of days, I've:
- gotten through a 2.5 hour yoga practice and 8 hours of indepth "get up into this incredibly challenging pose and stay there for 5 minutes while I tell you all there is to know about it" AND: I didn't pass out. In fact, I did damn well,. And I am mightily pleased. Cleansed, almost.
- I also was told by a complete stranger that I am a beautiful woman AND
- I had some amazing food. Amazing. Some of it, admittedly, was rather meh, but most of it - amazing.
- Got into some really excellent conversations with a man who does Pranic Healing (and taught me an amazing trick for ridding myself of Stuff I Don't Need, which is bounteous), as well as the founder of MegaYoga, who specializes in making yoga accessible for curvy gals and folks who maybe can't bend themselves in half just yet. I adore her.
- heard a beautiful 5 year old (who is the daughter of the Pranic Healing guy) singing "Namaste, namaste, namaste..." Again, adoration abounds.
- I can see mountains and a lake outside my room window. Many mountains. And many trees.
- I must remember to get heucherahs (?) and perennial geraniums for the gahden, as well as daylilies (Stella D'oro is apparently very lovely according to a woman in my class). And Ligularia.
In short, I love this place and I'm *so* glad I'm here.
