BioSo, you want to know about me, huh? I'm not sure what to say about my life but that I spend it shakily navigating the distance between my bohemian, neo-Buddhist nature and the capitalist shite that surrounds me and forces me into submission to such ill-conceived ideas as getting my bills paid.
But as negative (and anti-capitalist what-have-you) as that may sound, I actually do pretty well for myself. I have a good life, and good friends, and I consider myself blessed in that whatever life has thrown me, I have managed to pull out of it with my head (mostly) intact.
I suppose that you also should know that I use this journal as a journal in the truest sense of the word, and what this means is that, sometimes among the general everyday silliness, I will post what I tend to call "emotional nonsense." This is where I spend some time trying to sort out whatever current thing in my life is causing me emotional distress and share it all with you fine folk. These entries are, however, filtered for the protection of those who just don't give a hoot. If you are one who does in fact give a hoot, please send me a comment letting me know, and I will add you to my "emotional nonsense" filter. In completely random news, I also have a "recipes" filter set up, so I can remember the recipe when I make something really good (which I'm finding is fairly often). Let me know if you'd like to be on that list as well. Cheers :)
